Our expert development team and designers are crafting a premium village that blends active suburban living with top tier care.In anticipation for this exciting new addition to the Metlifecare portfolio, we are seeking \'expressions of interest\' for an experience Village Manager.You will be resident focused and come with a wealth of leadership experience to drive a team you will build onsite.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will have the overall responsibility of this Village nestled amongst a great community!

As an experienced Village Manager, you will be a natural leader and someone with passion for the industry.

Ultimately you will be responsible for all aspects of the Village including promoting the village offerings, networking with local community groups through to strategic planning, service delivery, asset and financial management ensuring our village remains lively and ready for the future.The residents are always at the heart of what we do so your customer focused, engaging energetic and resilient manner will ensure you are the go-to person for our residents, their families, our friendly staff.About YouWorking for Metlifecare is special in many ways and it will be your charisma, empathy, leadership, respect for other opinions that will enable you to operate the village to its full potential.

As a village manager, these things will support your applicationPrevious Village Management experience with an ability to build meaningful relationships with residents, staff and internal / external customersExperience working in Aged Care will be highly regardedA born leader who is a skilled communicator and adept at navigating through the day to day demands of a busy vibrant village and can develop our dedicated teamsExperience in management of business system, processes and drives for quality improvementsExcellent financial acumen, including sales focus and P&L ownershipStrategic planning experience to be able to contribute to the big picture, but equally look outside the industry to innovateRisk management to minimize exposure, including H&S and wellbeing managementAbout usMetlifecare is a leading New Zealand owner and operator of retirement villages, providing rewarding lifestyles and outstanding care to more than 7,400 New Zealanders.
