About the Role
As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you'll provide clinical leadership across multidisciplinary teams, supporting service users and their whanau with a holistic, person-centred approach.
Your responsibilities will include :
Conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments and treatment planning
Collaborating with GPs and health professionals across primary and secondary care
Supporting service development, quality improvement, and clinical supervision
Contributing to a culture of learning, safety, and cultural responsiveness

What You'll Bring
Vocational registration with the
Medical Council of New Zealand
(General Psychiatry or subspecialty)
A current Annual Practising Certificate
Expert clinical experience in Psychiatry (NZ experience preferred)
A full NZ driver's licence
