• Hawke's Bay fallen Soldiers Hospital, Community Nursing
• Casual positions available for Registered Nurses to work with the District Nursing Service or Specialist Nursing teams in the community setting based in Napier and Hastings

This includes wound care for postoperative acute wounds, chronic wounds, urinary catheter care including assessment for, and the prevention of, complications, replacement of male, female and supra-pubic catheters, compression bandaging, management of negative pressure wound therapy, as well as management of surgical, nephrostomy and pleural drains.

The specialist services include the Continence, Ostomy Better Breathing Hawkes Bay and Wound Services.The work is varied, rewarding and interesting.

If you have not previously worked in the community environment, this a wonderful opportunity to support our community to understand and help our patients' and their families to manage their health requirements.

The services are based at Hawkes Bay Fallen Soldiers Memorial Hospital and Napier Health Centre, requiring you to work from the both bases.
