As a Department Manager, you will lead your department team to provide exceptional customer service to every JD customer.You will work closely with the store's Management Team and be responsible for creating great in-store experiences, maintaining the merchandising & visual standards and delivering the financial results for your department.

You will lead by example setting the standard for how to achieve sales and key performance metrics, by coaching and developing your department team.As a Department Manager, you are responsible for, but not limited to : Model exceptional customer service, every customer, every timeCoach team to deliver exceptional service and a 'service over task' environmentActively gain, maintain and share product & brand knowledge for your departmentSupport management team to improve financial performance within your departmentWork with back of house team to ensure product availabilityUphold company standards and deliver store visual excellenceWhat We're Looking For2-3 years leadership experience within retail or like industryYou are passionate about delivering an amazing service experience for our customersYou have a positive attitude, with capacity to create a motivating environment for your teamYou have a proven track record in driving and exceeding set KPI's and communicate well with all stakeholdersYou have excellent time management skills to ensure that daily priorities are executed in a timely mannerThrives in a fast paced, ever-changing environmentOpenly shares knowledge with the wider team to achieve common goalsDesire to develop yourself; your career and learn new skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skills, someone who thrives in social situations through engagement with customers and team membersWhat's In It For You?
