We're looking for a skilled network engineer to help support and evolve one of New Zealand’s largest and most advanced campus network infrastructures. Spanning multiple campuses, our environment includes thousands of wireless access points, extensive wired infrastructure, and large‑scale data‑centre and Internet border systems.
This role offers hands‑on experience with next‑generation technologies across campus, wireless, optical, and network‑security domains. You'll contribute to projects like fabric‑based architectures, next‑gen wireless deployments, and AI‑driven performance optimisation, while supporting critical services that enable teaching, research, and student life – that’s why we’re here, after all.
Your work will be key to enabling flexible, automated, and scalable network solutions. You'll collaborate with infrastructure, security, and digital innovation teams, and have access to professional development and certification opportunities.

This is a permanent, full‑time (37.5 hours per week) position, based in Ōtepoti, Dunedin.
The salary level for this position is $99,364 to $107,888 per annum. Top of the range is $114,280.
