The Project

The Waikeria Prison Development Expansion PPP project is a multi-million dollar construction project based in the heart of the Waikato. This project will add leading-edge facilities to complement the existing Prison that CPB delivered earlier this year to the Department of Corrections. With early works underway, the opportunity to join this project is available now, with overall completion and facility opening due in 2029.

Your Opportunity

• To manage and control the effective implementation of the commercial framework and processes, including head contract and subcontract administration (change management), commercial risk analysis, insurances, control and reporting to ensure the project’s objectives are achieved.
• Ensuring that all contracts meet the legal, commercial and corporate standards and agreed benchmarks.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and conflicts with other work streams.
• Conducting contract negotiations with subcontractors & suppliers and managing significant claims and conflict resolution as required.
• Demonstrate a personal commitment to the SHE Cultural Framework, policies, Safety Essentials and Management System requirements and expectations.
