Intermediate Structural Designer / Drafter (Revit / BIM)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Structural Designer / Drafter to join our Central Structures team in Wellington. You’ll play a key role in delivering structural design documentation across a range of projects, working closely with engineers and other disciplines to ensure coordinated, high-quality outcomes.

This role offers variety and challenge, with opportunities to develop your technical skills and contribute meaningfully to project delivery. We have an industry leading team who push the boundaries of emerging software and technologies, and whose opinions and contributions are valued by international suppliers.

You’ll be involved in :

• Preparing and overseeing structural models and drawings for complex projects, ensuring alignment with company standards, quality systems, and budgets.
• Managing, verifying, and coordinating electronic model and drawing exchanges in predominantly cloud-based BIM.
• Delivering design documentation from concept to completion, meeting quality and technical excellence.
• Providing structural design guidance and support to colleagues.
• Communicating design intent clearly to internal teams and external clients, building strong working relationships.
• Contributing to tender and bid submissions, showcasing Beca’s design expertise.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and optimise project outcomes.
