Hamilton-based | Full-time | New role in a growing Kiwi success story
For over 75 years, Waitomo Group has been fueling Kiwis across the country. Proud to be 100-percent Kiwi-owned and operated, Waitomo keeps wheels turning with a network of more than 110 Fuel Stops and Diesel Stops, as well as bulk fuel supply and storage for commercial customers. A market disruptor punching above its weight, we’re rolling out ambitious plans for national growth and enjoy shaking things up in the fuel market. Our people are one of the three values that drive Waitomo’s success – people, performance, and price. At Waitomo, we live by these values every day.
As our business continues to grow, we’re investing in our commercial capability and creating a new opportunity for a smart, curious, and commercially-minded Pricing Analyst to join our team. This newly-created role sits at the centre of our commercial decision-making, helping Waitomo stay sharp, data-driven, and customer-focused.
You’ll turn complex data into clear, actionable insights that help drive smarter decisions and stronger results. By uncovering trends, opportunities, and risks, you’ll directly influence pricing, performance, and customer value. You’ll take ownership of executing and optimising nationwide retail pricing - monitoring market and competitor activity to ensure Waitomo stays sharp and competitive.
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring strong analytical and numerical skills, paired with a genuine passion for working with data and uncovering the story behind the numbers. You’ll have 2 - 4 years’ experience in a similar role, and be confident using analytical tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or other data platforms like Google Looker Studio, Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery. You’ll demonstrate commercial acumen and the ability to turn insights into meaningful business outcomes. Naturally curious and proactive, you’ll look for smarter ways to do things, communicate clearly, and enjoy working collaboratively to solve problems and deliver results.
At Waitomo, you’ll join a tight‑knit, values‑driven team that believes in ownership, trust, wellbeing, innovation, and performance. You’ll be part of a business that’s growing nationwide, with plenty of opportunity to develop, stretch, and make your mark. This is your chance to join a Kiwi success story where your work will directly influence how we compete and grow.
