Reporting to the Transport Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing timely bin collection services with a focus on safety, customer service, punctuality, and a great, flexible attitude.Full training will be provided for the successful applicants!

ResponsibilitiesEnsuring efficient service to customers by collecting scrap metal in a timely manner.Communicating with management to identify any on-site concerns regarding OHS, environmental, or collection issues arising.Following a daily work plan for routine collections, our site safety, environmental, and quality procedures.Operating any additional mobile plant / equipment (forklift, excavator, etc. where licensed) to assist with collection / loading.Participate in various continuous improvement and other programs as required.To be successful in this opportunity, you will haveA current NZ Class 4 (or more) Driver Licence – with the ability to operate a Hook Lift Unit.The ability to drive a truck with a road ranger gearbox.High levels of customer service, good communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously or in a team environment.Flexibility with both transport and operations.A can-do attitude, you will be open to undertaking training to diversify your skills.Desirable criteriaForklift and / or WTR tickets highly regarded.Ability to operate Gantry lift unit.Ability to operate Truck Mounted Crane.In return, we offerA competitive remuneration package (including overtime if eligible).
