- You’ll be responsible for shaping and delivering innovative programmes that attract, develop, and retain top emerging talent, ensuring NZTA’s workforce is ready for the challenges of tomorrow. You’ll work closely with internal and external partners, lead a small team, and manage significant projects—including the creation of an Emerging Professionals Alumni group and cross-sector secondment initiatives.
- Key responsibilities :
- Lead the design and delivery of Emerging Talent Programmes (e.g., Emerging Professional Programmes, Internships, Alumni)
- Ensure programmes are inclusive, scalable, and aligned with business needs
- Build and manage strong internal and external relationships
- Oversee project planning, risk management, and budget performance
- Continuously review and improve programmes using data-driven insights
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to establish NZTA’s brand in the market

- To be successful in this role, you will bring a depth of experience and expertise across key areas of talent management, including :
- Expertise in designing and delivering talent solutions and organisational development initiatives
- Proven experience leading and influencing across diverse stakeholders
- Strong project management skills
- Advanced communication, coaching, and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience managing teams and competing priorities in complex environments
- A degree in Human Resources, Organisational Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
