OverviewArchway Recruitment is seeking an experienced Intermediate or Senior Civil Engineer to join a highly regarded consultancy delivering practical and innovative land development and infrastructure solutions across the Wellington and North Island regions.

This is a great opportunity to step into a role with variety, autonomy, and the chance to contribute to meaningful projects in roading, stormwater, wastewater, and water infrastructure.ResponsibilitiesDelivering civil engineering design and documentation for stormwater, drainage, water supply, sewerage, and roading projects.Preparing drawings, reports, calculations, and technical documentation.Managing projects end-to-end — budgets, contracts, tender documentation, site observations, and construction monitoring.Liaising with councils, contractors, and clients to ensure design compliance and effective project outcomes.Building and maintaining strong client relationships while achieving project and billing targets.Promoting safety and compliance across all stages of design and delivery.About you / QualificationsBachelor of Engineering (BEng) or New Zealand Diploma in Engineering (NZDE) or equivalent.5+ years' experience in civil engineering, ideally within land development or three waters design.Proficient in AutoCAD and 12D, with experience in roading, earthworks, or services design.Strong technical background supported by on-site experience (e.g. drainage testing, erosion and sediment control).

Full, clean NZ driver's licence and residency or citizenship.Open work rights in New Zealand.
