We are fielding expressions of interest for a dedicated Quality Control Engineer to join our team at DIALOG Fitzroy in Taupō . You'll play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and integrity of our work, contributing to projects that span Renewables, Oil & Gas, Petro‑Chemical, structural steel, and geothermal industries.

What You'll Do :

• Quality Plans : Write and execute Inspection and Test plans for diverse projects (Oil & Gas, Petro-Chemical, structural steel, Geothermal)
• Daily Tasks : Attend pre-start meetings, ensure work meets high standards, approve timesheets, and tackle team issues
• Standards Mastery : Work with standards like ASME VIII, PD5500, AS 1210, ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, ASME IX, BS EN ISO 9606-1, AS / NZS 3992, AS / NZS 1554.1, AS / NZS 1554.6, AS / NZS 5131, AWS D1.1
• Inspection Duties : Prepare weld maps, track materials, manage weld control sheets, and perform visual inspections as a Certified Welding Inspector and coordinate NDT.
• Communication : Collaborate with Project Engineers, Managers, Statutory Inspectors, Client Reps, Workshop staff, and QC team members

What We're Looking For :

Level 5 or 6 Engineering qualification

Time management and organizational skills

Legal

Must have the right to work in New Zealand
