Setting up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipmentChecking ingredients to make sure the quality and freshnessPreparing and Cooking food in various utensils and grillersSeasoning, portioning, adding sauces to the food during / after cookingPreparing food to meet client’s taste and dietary needsArrange food on plates or wrap it to be taken awayStoring and reserving foodAssisting in planning menus, estimating food and labour costsCleaning and restocking workstations and ensuring that all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift.Checking the cleanliness of equipment and operation of machines before each run, to ensure compliance with health and safety regulationsAssisting with training and coordinating with junior cooks or kitchen hands, as requested by ChefTo be successful you will need to :
- Have at least 2 year s’ work experience in the same industry / field, OR
- Have a relevant level 4 qualification or equivalent certificates.
- Have a "can-do" attitude and team Spirit
- Excellent organization and time-management skills
