Swim School - Instructor

Overview

Our community loves to swim, and we proudly work with preschool- and school-aged children during weekday mornings, afternoons, and weekend mornings. This is an active and rewarding role where you will contribute to our community through helping children develop essential life skills. No experience necessary! All relevant training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Plan structured and engaging lessons for Learn to Swim students.
• Teach with encouragement and positive reinforcement.
• Assess participants to ensure they are improving their swimming ability and reaching milestones.
• Provide an active role in our Aquatic Centre, helping the community stay safe in and around water.

Role details

The role is a permanent part-time position, 28.25 hours per week. Extra hours may be available to cover leave or additional classes.

To be successful you will be committed to completing all training required, comfortable working with preschool and school-aged children, be positive team player, and value swim safety.
