The Manager - Parks & Recreation reports into the General Manager - Transport and Community Infrastructure and is responsible for leading the Parks & Recreation department.
You will work alongside other areas of the organisation in the delivery of projects and the transition to parks and recreation assets.
You will also oversee the management of operational contracts, including minor renewal projects.
Our ideal candidate will need : Leadership experience A tertiary qualification in either; parks and recreation management, environmental science, planning or landscape design Post qualification experience, ideally in a parks and recreation leadership role Contract management experience Financial forecasting, and management of OPEX and CAPEX budgeting What we can offer Our organisation offers a supportive team environment engaged in some exciting projects across the district.
