You'll be part of a growing culinary team with ample opportunities for career development and advancement.Skills & ExperiencePassion for excellence and a great attention to detail in every dish you create.2-3 years\' experience working in fast-paced kitchens, with a proven ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with multiple Food & Beverage outlets and the kitchen team.Strong organization and problem-solving skills to ensure smooth kitchen operations.Proven success in managing junior staff and leading a team, fostering a supportive and productive environment.Solid understanding of food cost and production processes, with a focus on maximizing efficiency and minimizing waste.Computer skills for handling various kitchen systems and documentation.Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.In-depth knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with all regulations.Trade cooking qualifications (Certificate III / IV in Commercial Cookery) are essential.A strong leadership style and work ethic, with a commitment to maintaining high standards.Familiarity with hotel occupational health and safety guidelines (WH&S) and a commitment to practicing them in the kitchen.You must meet the requirements to work in Australia to be considered for the position.
