The opportunity :

As the Plant Electrician reporting to the Electrical and Process Control Manager, you will work in a full-time permanent role, Monday to Friday, 7am to 3.30pm at our Visy Glass, Penrose Site. In this diverse and varied role, you will work closely with maintenance and production operations teams to lead initiatives in reducing plant downtime by conducting preventative maintenance activities, breakdown repairs, and providing general electrical maintenance as required throughout the plant. A minimum of 2 years post-trade experience as an Electrician, gained from working in an industrial, FMCG, or continuous process manufacturing environment, you’ll have an exceptional ability for fault finding and diagnostics, with the ability to work under urgency and pressure while maintaining high standards.
