BOTANY VEHICLE SERVICE 2004 LIMITED is seeking an experienced and reliable Automotive Electrician to join our team. We service a wide range of vehicles and provide electrical diagnostics, repairs and installations for our customers in the Botany and East Auckland area.
Location : Auckland, New Zealand
Hours per week : Minimum 30 hours
Employment type : Full-time, permanent
Hourly rate : $28 to $35 depending on experience
Key Responsibilities :
- Using diagnostic and test equipment to identify electrical and electronic faults.
- Dismantling and removing electrical and electronic assemblies and components for repair or replacement.
- Installing electrical equipment, accessories and electronic systems in motor vehicles.
- Connecting power-operated equipment and accessories to vehicle power supply.
- Adjusting and calibrating engine management and control systems.
- Testing, repairing and replacing alternators, generators, starter motors, voltage regulators and related systems.
- Repairing and replacing defective wiring, ignition systems, fuses, relays, switches and lighting.
- Ensuring all work complies with safety and manufacturer specifications.
