We continue to work with others to achieve equity in key health indicators for Maaori, Pacific and communities with health disparities and will continue to develop and implement plans, based on local needs to improve the health and wellbeing of Counties Manukau region.
Our main sites are Middlemore Hospital, Kidz First Hospital and Manukau Health Park.We are part of Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora, the overarching organisation for New Zealands national health service.
HNZ leads the day-to-day running of the health system, with functions delivered at local, district, regional and national levels.
This is a 29 bedded ward with state of the art facilities and also renowned for managing complex Orthopaedic cases.
Ward 11 is based at Middlemore Hospital and is part of the Surgical, Anaesthesia and Perioperative service.
Assisting them with day-to-day tasks of caring for our patients, this is a unique opportunity for you to contribute to our vision of delivering quality patient care.The successful applicant will get the opportunity to work with different patients and families supporting the nurses.
As aHealth Care Assistant you will be required to provide clinical care to our patients.
Our new team member must also be highly organised, able to prioritise, have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy building relationships with our patients.
