Senior Policy Analyst – Investment and Funding

Midpoint of $118,577 dependent on experience.

What you will do

Develop advice to the Minister of Health on investment priorities and funding sustainability.

Lead thorough assessment of value for money and investment readiness.

Support the development of the Vote Health Budget package.

Work with internal stakeholders and health entities on Budget and investment-related matters to ensure advice supports quality financial decisions.

Strong experience in NZ public finance systems / budget process; in policy, government processes; and political structures.

Highly developed written and oral skills, numerically proficient, with high skill level in Excel and similar tools.

Commitment to delivering high-quality services and outcomes with a collaborative approach.

Proven stakeholder engagement and ability to build effective relationships across diverse teams.

An understanding of infrastructure investment and / or experience in business cases for public sector investment would be an advantage.
