About theRole

Weare looking for a Casual Clinical Team Coordinator (CTC) to join theAfter-hours Nursing Team at Christchurch Health Campus.

Asthe Clinical Team Coordinator, you will be responsible for assessing and ensuring optimum patient care, through appropriate allocation of medical and clinical resources across the hospital afterhours, weekends and publicholidays.

Therole provides senior nursing leadership in the afterhours and works closelywith team members from a wide range of clinical disciplines to create asupported, productive and patient-centred team which delivers high qualitypatient care.

TheClinical Team Coordinators coordinate the afterhours team resources to enablethe Right Person, Right Patient, Right Time approach to patient care.

About You

• Atleast 5 years acute medical or surgical experience (broad based experiencewith significant time in an acute care setting)
• Hasor working towards Post graduate qualification in Health Assessment
• Abilityto build positive relationships across the acute clinical setting with avariety of health professionals
• Excellentcommunication and problem-solving skills as the key point of liaison afterhours
• Highlyorganised and motivated by the busy and challenging nature of thisrole.
• Asenior Registered Nurse, who thrives on autonomy and has the skills tolead.
• Registeredwith the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current Annual PractisingCertificate (APC)
