Senior Data Engineer

This is a fantastic Senior Data Engineer contracting opportunity, migrating on-prem to Azure Cloud and implementing Fabric.

The Opportunity

You'll be stepping into a massive cloud migration project, helping to move a core data platform from on-premise to Azure. This means you’ll get hands-on with Microsoft Fabric right as it's being implemented, putting you at the forefront of a modern data transformation which also includes a migration from on-prem data systems to Azure Cloud.

Your Role

As the Senior Data Engineer, you will be instrumental in shaping their new cloud data platform. Your key responsibilities will include :

• Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines within the MS Azure ecosystem.
• Playing a pivotal part in the broader on-prem to Azure data migration.
• Leading the implementation of Microsoft Fabric as a core component of the new platform.
• Utilising Databricks for advanced data processing and analytics workloads.
• Writing complex and efficient T-SQL queries to support data transformation.
• Building automation solutions using Power Automate and Logic Apps.
