Overview

We are looking for senior Data Engineers, ETL Developers and Data Consultants to join our Data Engineering practice in Auckland as we grow in 2025.

Fulcrum Decision has been providing Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse and Data Integration services for over 20 years. We are a team of high calibre data professionals with extensive technical expertise and industry knowledge. We offer a collegial and supportive culture, challenging projects working with leading clients across Australasia.

Our consultants use a range of technologies – such as Snowflake, Databricks, Fabric, SQL Server, Oracle, ADF, dbt, Matillion, Azure, AWS, GCP – and we maintain formal partnerships with leading technology and software companies.

You will have excellent communication skills, deliver exemplary data services to address your customer’s needs and are looking for opportunity to develop your leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Be a self-starter, with excellent knowledge of BI, data integration & data analysis
  • Be able to contribute with minimal supervision
  • Be organised with a strong drive to succeed
  • Have experience leading teams and working with clients

Qualifications

  • Solid ETL / ELT experience
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Data modelling
  • User requirements gathering
  • Database design, development, administration
  • DataOps, DevOps

    • Technologies

  • Snowflake, SQL Server, Oracle, Databricks, Fabric
  • dbt, SSIS
  • Azure, GCP, AWS

    • Development experience (Python, Go, Java, .NET) or data architecture experience is desirable (but is not mandatory).
