We’re looking for two full-time Field Operators to join our Pest Plant team in Upper Hutt. One permanent role and one fixed-term role covering a secondment until June 2026.
About the role
As a Field Operator - Pest Plants you will undertake work as part of Greater Wellington's Regional Pest Management Plan, focusing on surveying and control of pest plants in the region's highest value biodiversity sites. You will assist the Biosecurity Officers - Pest Plants with daily fieldwork in the Hutt Valley and Kapiti area. More information on GW's Pest Plant work can be found here.

The remuneration for this position, inclusive of all benefits, is $61,691 to $92,536, with a midpoint of $77,113. Starting remuneration will depend on skills and experience.
