You will be instrumental in the development of the Peer support role within the Perinatal Mental Health Service.Click here to view the position description.About the TeamHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Waikato Perinatal Mental Health is a specialised team that offers assessment, treatment and advice for women who have developed mental illness or have had previous mental illness during the perinatal period (during pregnancy or up to one year after the baby is born).

You will be part of an interdisciplinary team including social workers, nurses, doctors, and psychologists.

You will have excellent communication, networking and advocacy skills.

You are resilient and able to work independently and as part of a team.Understanding of mental health perinatal recovery journeys.At least a Level 4 qualification in a related area, such as a Level 4 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing.Experience in implementing Te Tiriti o Waitangi in action and a commitment to equitable outcome for our whaanau.Full NZ driver's licenceWorking at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
