Key Responsibilities
Employee & Industrial Relations : Provide expert guidance on ER / IR matters, manage union relationships, and support collective agreement negotiations.
Business Partnering & Coaching : Build strong relationships with leaders, coach managers, and support change initiatives.
Recruitment & Onboarding : Lead end-to-end recruitment processes and ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
People Processes & Administration : Oversee core HR processes and drive continuous improvement.
Exits & Offboarding : Manage exit processes and provide insights to enhance retention.
Training & Development : Support learning initiatives and workforce planning.
Process Improvement & Systems : Identify opportunities to streamline HR operations and enhance system usage.
Culture & Engagement : Champion initiatives that promote wellbeing, inclusion, and engagement.
Compliance & Risk Management : Ensure HR practices meet legal and policy standards.
What You’ll Bring
Proven experience in HR advisory role.
Strong knowledge of NZ employment law and industrial relations.
Experience working with unions and collective agreements.
Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
Analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement.
Solutions oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
