Licensed Cadastral Surveyor

About the RoleAs a Licensed Cadastral Surveyor, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality outcomes across a variety of projects.

Your responsibilities will include : Project planning, including setting key milestones and deliverables.Managing, tracking, and reporting project progress.Collaborating closely with Directors and Managers on project updates and ensuring quality assurance of cadastral surveys.Supervising and administering contracts, attending client meetings, and driving business development for key projects.Assisting the leadership team with office management tasks, identifying opportunities and solutions, and contributing to hiring activities, including interviewing and mentoring staff.Training and supporting Graduate Surveyors and technicians to build future capability within the team.This role offers variety, professional growth, and the chance to be part of a progressive and innovative environment.What's on OfferCompetitive remuneration tailored to your experience.Flexible working arrangements to support work-life balance.Paid professional memberships and access to structured professional development frameworks.A strong, supportive team culture that values collaboration and innovation.Opportunities to work from different office locations across New Zealand, depending on projects and experience.The possibility of gaining experience with Australian surveys.About YouTo succeed in this role, you'll need : A Bachelor of Surveying (BSurv) or equivalent tertiary qualification.A minimum of 5 years' experience in the New Zealand surveying industry.Proficiency with LandOnline.Membership with Consulting Surveyors of New Zealand and / or Survey and Spatial NZ is desirable.Familiarity with 12D, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD is advantageous.Proven experience with a variety of complex cadastral surveys.Why Tauranga?
