The Opportunity
The Digital Designer plays a crucial role in producing engaging and on-brand visual content across Kami’s channels. This position is responsible for creating social media content, video assets, light animation, and visual designs that resonate with our global education audience. The ideal candidate will be a creative self-starter with strong storytelling instincts, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt content for different channels and formats.
What You’ll Do
- Work collaboratively & manage multiple design projects. You’ll work with our design / video leads and wider marketing and commercial teams to bring ideas to life and maintain visual consistency across all channels.
- Develop and refine creative concepts. Ensure designs are fresh, engaging, scalable and align with business goals and campaign objectives, across digital channels and bring them to life with the likes of light animation and motion graphics.
- Translate brand guidelines & contribute to how our brand and design systems evolve. Including utilise campaigns to expand and test how our brand shows up and evolves; utilising creative reviews and critiques to strengthen our brand and meet the visual needs of our target audiences.
- Stay up to date with tools and trends. Utilise AI-powered solutions to increase our speed of execution and the creative solutions we offer.
- Prepare design assets for production or development. Ensure all assets are production-ready and optimised for their intended platform, whether for online or development handoff. Ensure assets are delivered in the correct formats, organised, and labelled clearly to ensure minimal rework or clarification needed.
- Ensure user experience and customer needs are met, by incorporating best practices and customer insights into all design decisions to create clear, functional, and user-friendly solutions across digital touchpoints.
- Reporting and Analytics. Support the marketing team by implementing tracking metrics across assets and assisting in analysing trends to inform future strategy.
