Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Certificated teacher – English

An opportunity exists to join our English Department, starting on 28 January 2026.

We are looking for a passionate and innovative English Teacher to teach students from Y9 to Y13.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons to students in Years 9–13.

Demonstrate deep knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum and strong understanding of NCEA achievement standards.

Put students at the heart of practice and cater for diversity to support inclusive learning.

Support the school's strategic goals of raising student achievement.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a deep knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum and strong understanding of NCEA achievement standards and puts students at the heart of their practice.
