We are seeking a culturally responsive teacher / kaiako who is highly motivated and can build strong relationships with tamariki and whanau.
Our kura offers both English-medium and Dual-medium education for our tamariki and we embrace Te Ao Maori throughout the fabric of who we are as a kura.
The ideal candidate for our dual-medium classroom will have experience teaching in a dual-medium environment and possess high knowledge of Te Reo Maori and its associated tikanga.
Our dual-medium classes operate at Level 2 in Te Reo Maori.
A strong commitment to the principles of He Puawaitanga, our dual-medium hub, is essential.
Ideally, the successful candidate for our English-medium classroom will have some experience with Structured Literacy / The Code but a commitment to this approach and willingness to learn and grow is equally as important.
Experience with Maths No Problem a bonus.
