We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring kaiako with a genuine passion for English and senior media studies.

Applicants will enact our responsibilities under Te Tiriti o Waitangi and should be able to connect easily with young people, making learning relevant to life.

Excellent communication skills are important, as is the need to be flexible, organised and enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team.

Applicants should bring creative, innovative ideas, and connect learning to local contexts.

As a classroom practitioner, you will have experience with providing rich learning opportunities with demonstrated practice of high expectations for akonga and culturally responsive pedagogies.

A willingness to be involved in the wider life of the learning area and school is essential.

Applicants must have New Zealand Teacher Registration.

This position is to commence on 28 January 2026.
