• The Information Services team provides Maritime New Zealand (MNZ) with a modern technology environment that enables the organisation to leverage information and systems for better safety outcomes.Leveraging technology and developing our digital assets to create, use and share high-quality data, information and insights to drive robust decision-making, better organisational agility and responsive Maritime NZ future thinking. We lead MNZs information, communications, technology services and systems, providing infrastructure and connectivity.
• Te tūnga | The role
• No day will be the same for our Project Coordinator, with your abundance of energy and drive you’ll provide essential coordination, administration, and reporting services to ensure projects run smoothly and achieve their objectives. You’ll need to be a great communicator, be able to work independently and use your initiative. You will need to be comfortable working on a range of tasks, supporting our project sponsors, managers and business owner advice on their project’s lifecycle, while ensuring the smooth running of project meetings and follow-up actions.In return you will join a collaborative team that values innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. • With a pragmatic approach you will be a bright self-starter with the ability to build relationships, across internal stakeholder groups. To be successful you will also have :
• Experience coordinating multiple projects and working with several project managers simultaneously.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management tools.
• Financial administration experience and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Curiosity, tenacity and a good sense of humour!
