Overview
JO&JOE is opening its new hostel in Auckland and is looking for a Receptionist / All Rounder. This hybrid role will support both the Front Office and Food & Beverage teams, ensuring guests receive a warm welcome and great service throughout their stay. Come and write a page in the history of JO&JOE by being part of the opening team.
Responsibilities
- Provide a warm, personalized welcome to guests and convey the JO&JOE vibe through your attitude and professionalism.
- Manage bookings, phone calls, check-ins, and check-outs.
- Inform guests about their stay, services, and local happenings.
- Assist with breakfast service and support the bar / restaurant team when needed.
- Take orders, process payments, and prepare beverages.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in both front desk and F&B areas.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate needs to supervisors.
- Promote JO&JOE events, upsell services, and support revenue growth.
- Ensure safety procedures are followed and communicate effectively with other departments.
- Respond to guest feedback and manage cash handling procedures.
