About the role
You will be part of a dedicated team providing comprehensive elective general orthopaedic services, as well as 24-hour orthopaedic trauma and orthopaedic emergency care.
You will also have the opportunity to undertake regular outpatient clinics in Queenstown.
There are two trainees and six non-trainee positions, as well as a trauma senior house officer.

This role belongs to the New Zealand Resident Doctors' Association and Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Collective Agreement and Specialty Trainees of New Zealand (STONZ) and Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Collective Agreement.
About you
Our ideal candidate will have registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand or be eligible for general or provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.

We are interested in hearing from RMOs with a minimum of two years' post qualification experience, preferably including at least six months orthopaedic experience.
It is requirement of the Medical Council of New Zealand that your qualifications are approved through EPIC.
If you have a commitment to working in New Zealand, it is highly recommended that you start this process as soon as possible to allow your subsequent registration to be undertaken in a timely fashion.
