Health Technician role at LifeCare
We currently have an exciting new opportunity for an outstanding health professional to join us in the role of Health Technician.
In this supported but autonomous role, you will be delivering first aid training courses and health screening services across the Otago region, and occasionally beyond.
Responsibilities
Deliver first aid training courses in a group setting
Deliver occupational health screening services (pre-employment and annual checks)
Ensure compliance with external and internal processes
Data entry
Travel across the region to worksites, with the occasional night away
The Successful Candidate Will Have The Following
The right to work in New Zealand – no visa sponsorship available
A current clean Full New Zealand Driver's Licence
A tertiary health or sport and exercise-related qualification
A passion for people and preventative health care
The ability to deliver health education in a manner that is engaging and interactive
The ability to work at a fast pace and keep to schedule
Strong computer skills and attention to detail
Flexibility across the working fortnight and able to do early starts and late finishes at times

Minimum guaranteed 6 days per fortnight (for the right candidate, we may consider 8 days per fortnight)
