Coordinate fibre network operations to ensure timely service fulfilment and fault resolution at Northpower, a leading multi-utility provider in New Zealand.
Your Role
Here's what you will be doing :
Coordinating day-to-day fibre service configuration, activation, and fulfilment.
Supporting Retail Service Providers (RSPs) with fault management and resolution.
Monitoring internal alerts and collaborating with technical teams to identify and resolve issues.
Escalating complex problems to appropriate internal or vendor teams as needed.
Maintaining accurate documentation and sharing updates across the team.
Providing performance reports to support service quality and customer experience.
Assisting during storm or major network events, including after-hours support and participating in on-call roster.
Championing safe work practices and taking initiative to stop unsafe work when necessary.
About You
The company is looking for :
Experience in broadband, telecommunications, or an ISP environment (preferred).
Strong customer service skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High computer literacy and comfort working with operational systems.
Positive, can-do attitude with willingness to learn and grow.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
Tertiary qualification or relevant industry experience (desirable).
