Te Kaunihera aa Takiwaa o Waikato (Waikato District Council) serves the Waikato District which covers more than 400,000 hectares (418.893ha). The district is rich in natural resources, wilderness reserves, native bush reserves, lush farmland and stunning west coast beaches.

About this role :
We're looking for a skilled Project and Partnerships Lead - Rural Strategy to guide the development and delivery of our district's first rural strategy. This role is about working with rural communities, Maaori, and industry to ensure rural priorities are reflected in Council planning, policies, and services.
Success will be built on strong partnerships and genuine collaboration with Maaori, farmers, rural businesses, and community groups.

Additional Information
Hours of work : 20-40 hours per week, fixed term for 14 months. We're flexible on hours and open to both full-time and part-time arrangements
