The learning support coordinator will be a key role within Freyberg Community School, supporting our commitment to inclusive, equitable, and culturally responsive education. The LSC will work collaboratively with staff, whānau, and external agencies to ensure learners with additional needs are identified early, supported effectively, and are able to thrive as confident, connected learners.

This role involves :

• Strengthening school-wide systems and teacher capability to support students with diverse learning, behavioural, and wellbeing needs.
• Coordinating targeted support and interventions, including agency liaison and IEP processes.
• Providing advice, professional learning, and practical guidance for staff in inclusive and differentiated practice.
• Offering calm, solutions-focused support when colleagues require assistance with behaviour management or complex classroom situations.

Applicants must be experienced, fully registered teachers with a current practising certificate and a strong track record of supporting diverse learners. This role does not include any additional units.
