This is permanent full-time role of 40 hours a week.About YouTo be successful in this role, we are looking for : 8+ years'' experience in engineering / construction projects covering major projects5+ years as a planner / scheduler covering major projectsNZ experience essentialExperience in the mining and energy sectorsCompetent user of Primavera P6 and MS Project is essential.
Competency with other schedule tools including 4D tools like Synchro would be advantageous.Intermediate user of excel is essential (pivots), preferably advanced level (Power Query).
Competency with Power BI, Power Apps or similar data management and reporting tools would be an advantage.Experience in performing Schedule Risk Analysis.Able to develop and manage a construction schedule, including basis of schedule, productivity assessments, cost loading, resource loading and levelling, and baseline management.Assessment of delay claims.Competent in reviewing contractor tender schedules and preparing detailed reports on schedule quality.Able to prepare monthly reports including monitoring progress on site, tracking planned vs actual progress, identifying potential resource bottlenecks, and summarise to suit the client's level of understanding.Experience in creating and managing a "master programme" that integrates multiple schedules would be advantageous.Able to interpret, analyse, and present complex information in a summarised format that is suitable for the audience.People-centric person who puts relationships first, and is able to build strong client relationshipsExcellent communicator and listener, able to connect with a broad range of people, and can adapt communication style to suit the audience (clients, peers, seniors).
