About the Role
The
Radiation Therapy Department at the Canterbury Regional Cancer and Haematology
Service has multiple opportunities available to join our new graduate programme commencing in approximately Dec 2025.
These are full-time fixed-term positions for a period of 6 - 9 months.
Our
department has 4 Elekta linear accelerators, a Siemens 64 slice CT scanner and
Monacotreatment planning system. The department
provides a gynaecological and prostate HDR brachytherapy service and uses
Mosaiq as its patient management system.
The
department currently provides a full range of Radiation Therapy services
including VMAT, IMRT, SABR(lung), deep inspiration breath hold and the
full spectrum of IGRT modalities. We are a department that supports the
growth and development of our staff with numerous opportunities to be involved
in a wide range of projects.
About
you
Applications
are invited from NZ Radiation Therapists currently in their first year of post
graduate experience who hold registration from the MRTB of New Zealand and who demonstrate the following :
Strong communicator with a collaborative, patient-focused approach
Demonstrates integrity, accountability, and cultural competence
Takes initiative, solves problems, and contributes to service improvement
Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo
Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your
learning and growth
