Excavator Operator (Waikato)

We're looking for an experienced Excavator Operator to join ourWaikato Civil team. This is a great opportunity to be part of regional projects that help shape the local community.

What you'll be doing

Operating excavators safely and efficiently on civil construction sites

Carrying out deep excavations for foundations, services, and structures

Working on drainage installation (stormwater, wastewater, and other services)

Assisting with trenching, backfilling, and site preparation

Supporting the team to deliver earthworks and pavement projects on time, to spec, and safely

What we're looking for

Proven experience operating excavators in heavy civil construction

Competency with trench shoring, trench safety, and working around live services

A current WTR endorsement (Class 2 or higher licence preferred)

Commitment to health & safety and working as part of a team
