- The Infrastructure and Digital Assets (IDA) team is delivering a transformational programme to modernise our technology platforms and deliver life-changing digital solutions for our people and staff.We're looking for an IT Project Manager to support the delivery of initiatives within our Data and Information portfolio.
This area provides system ownership, oversight, and governance across the Department's information landscape, including our enterprise data warehouse and associated reporting and analytics tools.You'll be responsible for coordinating and managing data and analytics projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the expected quality.

Managing the delivery of data and information projects, ensuring alignment with business needs and timelines.Working closely with system owners, business owners, and technical teams to support successful project outcomes.Supporting reporting, risk management, and governance processes.Providing clear and timely updates to stakeholders.Coordinating internal and external resources to ensure effective project delivery.Nga pukenga me nga wheako | Skills and experienceWe're looking for someone with experience managing IT projects, ideally in data, analytics, or business intelligence environments.You'll bring :
Experience delivering IT projects, preferably in a data or analytics context.Familiarity with data warehousing, reporting platforms, or enterprise analytics tools.Knowledge of project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 (certification desirable).Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Ability to work collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams.Experience with IT procurement and change management processes is a plus.Nga painga | The benefitsThe midpoint of the salary range is $147,765 per annum and the full range (85%-120%) is $125,601 - $177,318 per annum.Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.Join Ara Poutama Aotearoa - Department of Corrections, where your work will contribute to improving public safety, reducing re-offending, and address the overrepresentation of Maori in correctional facilities.
