Position : Retail Manager (Full-time)
Location : 65 Percival Street, Rangiora 7400
Hours : 30–40 hours per week (within shop operating hours)
Salary : $30 - $35 / hour
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and update menu items in consultation with the shop’s owners and cooks, including pricing and portion standards.
- Plan and organise occasional promotions, bulk orders or community food requests.
- Arrange purchasing of ingredients, packaging and supplies within budget, and maintain basic stock and financial records.
- Ensure all food preparation areas, equipment, and the customer waiting area meet food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Interact with customers to check satisfaction, handle feedback, and resolve issues.
- Train, roster and supervise our team of front-counter and kitchen staff.
- Assist with welcoming customers, taking orders (including phone orders), and supporting the team during busy periods.
Role Requirements
A Diploma in Management or similar qualificationManagement experience preferredKnowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements.Strong customer service skills and the ability to work hands-on in a team.Good organisational skills and reliability in managing daily operations.
