About the Role :

As part of one of New Zealands busiest healthcare environments, you will work within the operating theatres, supporting a dynamic and multidisciplinary team.

Your role is pivotal to the smooth running of patient care, and your efforts will be valued by patients, staff, and the community alike.

This is a full time position working 40 hours a week Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities :

Patient Support : Assist in transferring patients safely and comfortingly throughout the hospital.Equipment Management : Help with ordering, restocking, and maintaining medical equipment and supplies.Hygiene Standards : Ensure cleanliness and infection control standards are met in all areas of the theatre and surgical spaces.Collaboration : Work closely with a variety of clinical staff to ensure patient care runs smoothly.Customer Service : Communicate with patients, families, and staff to ensure everyones needs are met.About You :

High Energy & Initiative : You will be proactive, always looking for ways to support your team.Attention to Detail : The role requires careful handling of equipment and following strict hygiene protocols.Communication Skills : Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals.Previous Experience : Ideally, you will have experience in a healthcare setting, although we will provide training to the right candidate.Flexibility : The environment can change quickly, and you should be ready to adapt to meet the needs of the team.Working at Health New Zealand
