Roshan Renovations & Decorating Limited needs experienced Painters and

Decorators to paint new and existing dwellings and commercial buildings.

Location - Auckland

Job type - Full-time; Duration - Permanent

Hours of Work - 40 per week

(30 hours per week guaranteed)Your role will involve

Erect scaffolding and ladders, place drop sheets to protect adjacent areas from paint and wallpaper glue splattering

Prepare surfaces by removing old paint and wallpaper, fix woodwork, fill holes and cracks, remove dust and debris, smooth and seal surfaces

Apply masking material over surfaces which are not to be painted

Select and prepare paints to required colours by mixing portions of pigment, oil, thinning and drying additives

Apply paints, varnishes and stains to surfaces using brushes, rollers and sprays

Work in a team selected by the Employer

Clean equipment and work areas

When necessary, supervise less experienced employees

Rate of pay - $33.70 to $35 per hour, for normal hours plus overtime hours

Required : minimum 3 years experience as a painter
