Mitre 10 Mega Tauranga - Loss Prevention Team Member

Overview

This role will be based in the Building Zone , where your main responsibility will be checking customers’ vehicles (cars and utes) for receipts to ensure all items have been paid for. You’ll play a key part in maintaining a safe and secure environment for both our team and customers, helping to prevent loss and uphold store policies.

Loss Prevention / Security : Wednesday to Saturday with a total of 40 hours per week

This is a Fixed-Term role ending January 2026.

Responsibilities

What we need from you :

• Ability to identify suspicious behaviour and potential security risks quickly and accurately
• Trustworthy and dependable, with a strong sense of responsibility
• Works well with store staff and management to maintain a safe and secure environment
• Full New Zealand Driver's License
• Experience with CCTV is an advantage
• Computer literate
