Competitive remuneration starting from $81,206 to $97,557, depending on experience

About the role

We have a permanent Social Worker opportunity in our intake and assessment team who will be based at our Rotorua site. Travel will be required through the region as necessary; you will have use of a fleet vehicle therefore we do need a full clean driver\'s licence.

The intake and assessment team manages our reports of concerns, this includes completing initial visits to whanau and Tamariki, interviewing Tamariki, working closely with our community stakeholders, Iwi and Police. You will also be arranging hui-a-whanau and working with whanau and Tamariki to access community supports. We have a combination of experienced and new social workers who we think provide the best service and response to the whanau we work with.

Please note : We do a things a little differently here on site asnew social workers will not hold a case load for 12 months asyou will be trained and supported on site and will also attend an induction programme, we believe this model gives you the best foot forward on your career with us as a Social worker, we will support and guide you every step of the way!
