Senior Strategy Analyst

A new opportunity has arisen for a Senior Analyst to join our Strategy Team based in Auckland. This is a permanent full‑time position.

The Senior Strategy Analyst role supports the development and execution of Craigs Investment Partners’ strategy, and provides the Board and Executive team with analysis and insights into current and future performance to guide decision making within the Company. The role reports to the Head of Strategy.

A key aspect of the role is supporting Craigs Investment Partners’ growth strategy via Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A). The Senior Strategy Analyst will be responsible for managing M&A processes (including delivering high‑quality valuation advice, negotiation support and managing due diligence through to completion and integration).

The Senior Strategy Analyst role is a diverse and hands‑on strategy role and provides excellent career progression and development opportunities. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong analytical skills, and have a positive and can‑do attitude.

About you

We are looking for candidates with relevant five years equivalent work experience, and who are able to demonstrate the following :

• 5+ years’ experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, corporate finance or a strategy role at large corporate preferred
• Proven M&A experience
• Reasonable level of industry knowledge in financial services desirable
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
• Strong investigative and problem‑solving skills
• Strong analytical, Excel, financial modelling skills with well‑developed commercial acumen
• Experience working across multiple projects, and is organised and proactive
• Driven with desire to make a difference and build your career
