About the Role
The Store Manager will be responsible for supervising all store activities, ensuring compliance with licensing laws, maintaining stock levels, and leading a high-performing sales team. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a passion for managing retail operations.
Key Responsibilities
- ? Oversee daily store operations including opening and closing
- ? Lead, train and supervise store staff
- ? Provide excellent customer service and handle customer queries / complaints
- ? Ensure compliance with all liquor licensing laws and health & safety requirements
- ? Manage inventory, stock rotation and supplier orders
- ? Monitor sales targets and profitability
- ? Maintain store cleanliness, merchandising and product displays
- ? Manage cash handling and banking procedures
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of liquor licensing regulations and age-verification responsibilities
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays when required
- A positive attitude and focus on delivering outstanding customer experiences
