Te aheinga : The Opportunity We're looking for a Senior Transition Communications Partner to make a significant contribution to strategic communications during this exciting change.
You'll play a key role in developing and delivering communications strategies that protect and enhance the reputation of MIT and Unitec, while supporting the transition to a single entity.
This is a fulltime, fixed term role starting Monday 2 February
This role will require you to work onsite at least 3 days a week and across both campuses.
What you'll do : Develop and implement communications plans for internal and external audiences.
Support change projects with clear, engaging, and culturally inclusive messaging.
Create compelling content across multiple channels, including digital and video.
Partner with stakeholders to ensure consistent, effective communication.
Champion Maori and Pasifika language, culture, and perspectives in all communications.
Monitor and report on the impact of communications initiatives.
He korero mou : What We're Looking For At least 7 years' experience in strategic communications.
Tertiary qualification in communications Proven ability to deliver communications plans that support change projects.
Strong writing skills and ability to provide trusted advice at all levels.
Experience with stakeholder engagement and reputation management.
Understanding of, or willingness to learn, Te Reo Maori and Tikanga Maori.
Familiarity with social media, CMS, and digital storytelling.
Desirable : Photography / video skills, and experience in tertiary education.
